The first question you have to ask yourself is, "Do I have a passion for fitness? Do I want to be a part of a community that celebrates every day?" I couldn't shake the feeling I felt when I walked out of Basecamp Fitness. This was a different kind of energy; it stuck with me all day. And I couldn't shake it, and I'm like, "This is it," and there was no turning back.
Seeing them show up day after day is so motivating for me as an individual and as a business owner, too. I'm creating the space where they feel safe to come into. You're empowering them, you're building them up, letting them live their healthier, stronger life with Basecamp.
There is such a tight network of owners who are sharing ideas every single day, and you get to be a part of that team. The growth, the development, they come in, I'm the best part of their day, and to make an impact in their life and change people's lives, it's why I got into fitness. It's why I love fitness and plan to be in it as long as I can.
The more that I learned about the franchising side and that there would be people walking alongside me in the journey of opening a business, I felt really empowered to pursue one on my own.
